Terms of service

Tradecraft is operated by mjonesone LLC ("we"). By creating an account or buying a report you agree to these terms.

The service

Tradecraft produces research reports about companies using publicly available information, and monitors websites you add to a watchlist. Reports describe what we found and how confident we are in each figure. They are research, not investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and you are responsible for your own decisions.

Accounts

You sign in with a link sent to your work email. Keep access to that email secure. Anyone who can read it can sign in to your account.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time from the billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month. Plan credits refresh each billing month and do not roll over. Purchased report credits do not expire. Because research starts as soon as it is requested, completed reports are not refundable; if a report fails or we can't deliver it, we return the credit.

Acceptable use

Don't use Tradecraft to research private individuals, to harass anyone, or for anything unlawful. Don't resell reports as a data product without a written agreement. We may decline or stop any request.

Your content

Your questions, watchlist and reports are yours and are not shared with other customers. You may share reports within your organisation and with co-investors.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Changes and contact
